NERVAZHI THRISSUR: Thrissur, Kerala, India; NERVAZHI is a society, registered under the Travancore – Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration act, 1955 having Registration No.R.-390/07. The Registration Certificate was issued on 22.08.2007 by the Registrar under the said Act. It is a non-profit, voluntary and service oriented organisation. The main objects inter alia are protection of human rights, compact of torture bu the police, providing help to victims of torture, fighting corruption in public offices, campaigning for the right to information and educating people regarding their rights to obtain information from various authorities, providing free legal aid to poor and needy etc.NERVAZHI has been functioning towards the above objectives from the year 2005 onwards and the registration was obtained on 22/08/2007. It has done yeomen service in the areas mentioned above and is an organization trusted and approached by people in various walks of life, particularly the poor and marginalized sections of the society, The NERVAZHI has done its best such persons whenever the need arose. It has not only helped the people who approached the organization but has also reached out to the needy.
